audigy 2 zs platinum pro question

Hi, after upgrading my soundcard from a sb live, ct4830, to the above, I got the following symptoms occasionally but lived with it.
After watching a recorded tv show and then deleting it, if you then played another show straight after, the picture goes black and there is a kind of stutter and the clicking noise as if you are going up and down a menu list. If I exit full screen I can see the mce screen displaying stopped, sometimes if you press play it starts ok, most of the time it wont play unless you start live tv and then go back to watch the recorded tv.
I recently did a clean install and thought it might have cleared that up, but it still happens.

Has anyone heard of this and know of a fix?
Thanks
