hi guys, i need some help. hooked up to my crt via component and all was sweet, went out only to return to a tv that is out of sync. is there anyway to reset the component out refresh rate while hooked up to the tv. i'm using the onboard x1250 from an asus m2a va hdmi. if i connect to a vga monitor display is fine but i cant find where to reset the component out.
any help is much appreciated

Re: component output

I'd actually be testing your TV. Can you hook anything else up to the component inputs on it to test it out?

It's also possible that the 1250 is going a bit wacky. It's not getting too hot?

It sounds like either your tv is playing up or the 1250. This isn't a software fix imo.

Re: component output

thanks for the reply, a standalone dvd player via component is fine and on further interrogation of the offspring it turns out he didn't like the resolution of the desktop and so using catalyst control center set it to 720p or something like that, thinking it would improve.
is there some way i can reset back to a lower setting ?
would it be possible to adjust via a separate lcd monitor running a dvi connection as the mobo supports two displays this way ?
or would uninstalling/reinstalling catalyst and fix the problem?
