Recored tv MCE Buddy

Have been using mcebuddy for a while now and havent really been paying it much attention til now. It works great. My recorded tv shows go to the recorded tv folder. Then mce buddy does its work, reduces the size, and puts it back into the videos file. Problem is that media centre pulls shows off recorded tv. Which is far enough. But what happens to the shows in the videos file?To me it should help reduce hdd space, but does'nt really because you still have the tv show in recorded tv file also. How can i make media centre read off the video file in the library so you can just delete the file from recorded tv and watch the reduced file instead? Or is my MCE buddy set up wrong? To me i should be watching the smaller sized recording, and the original larger file is deleted. How can i do this? Can i make the recorded tv library read from a different location?

You can set MCE Buddy to delete the recordings after it's finished with them, and then add the converted file folder to My Videos and watch the recordings from there.
