how can i take a program i recorded from VMC ie family guy and put it onto my ipod? its a 4Gb nano. I tried using a movies and audio to go program from manacomm but it cant support the VMC file. Do i need to convert it to an avi or wmv file? if so how?

Re: recorded tv to ipod

Hi,

I use MCE Buddy, an add on that is a great application put out by Phredeaux who is a member here, to convert to H264, followed by Videora ipod converter, which is a free application from Redkawa. Both of these are free. The latter runs some banner adverts, but as I said really works.

Cheers,

KH

yup, mce is definitely the way to go here, otherwise youre must likely stuck needing two apps to go from DVRMS>mpeg>mp4
