H264 & Ff

Can any of you more tech minded peps see the day when H264 will have ff & RR
Or is this technically not possible with the format?

I like the functionality of DVD folders but not the file size.
Every couple of months I get on here and read what other people are upto, but nothing has changed and everyone is still doing there own little thing which suits them, with no support for a smaller file size and full functioning format on the horizon!

Re: H264 & Ff

Hi wdric,

I dont know if you've read about the V2 Extenders, but apparently they will support h.264 formats. I wonder whether this means Microsoft has truly adopted Mpeg4 now and maybe will fix the FFWD / RRWD issue.

Lets bow our heads and hope and pray that with V2 extenders hitting the market there will be some Media Center updates to go along with them.
