Convert all my dvds to a digital dvd library

Im looking for some software that will allow me to convert all my dvd's to a Compressed format like xvid , Divx.

I would also like it to use all 4 cores on my processor. Is divx6.6 + the converter plugin ok for this?

Re: Convert all my dvds to a digital dvd library

Hi there,

I have just been converting some MPG files into Xvid using the latest release of Auto Gordian Knot (AutoGK).

I run this on an AMD X2 64 6000 System which has dual cores, which seem to be taken advantage of as the program utilises SSE etc if detected.

I was converting about a 4GB MPG file, which was already in Xvid...just reducing the size to fill a CD, about 700MB. Did a great job quality wise.

AutoGK link.

Regards,

Xav.
