Re: winavi vs avi2dvd vs convertxtodvd

I'm tried lots of different converters with ConvertXtoDVD giving me the most reliable outcome. When I'm converting from DVR-MS, I use VideoReDo first to do the editing.

None of them - I use TmpgEnc3 Xpress to convert to MPG as it's the only tool I've found which reliably manages to sync the audio correctly with files of varying frame rates and VBR. Any old DVD burner can burn MPG to DVD.

Re: winavi vs avi2dvd vs convertxtodvd

If you're talking about converting avi files to DVD format - then I use none of them. I just burn directly to DVD, and use a DivX capable DVD player.

The cost of a DivX capable player is well outweighed by savings in time, effort, blank discs & storage space.
