winfast dtv1000s not scanning any channels

Hello Guys I am fairly new to this site and would appreciate some help on the following,

I have a leadtek winfast dtv1000s tuner card in my HTPC which is primarily used to record TV, last night after doing an update with vista, it no longer showed any channels, the channel list was there but there was no picture, I went thru the whole TV setup again and did a search for TV channels and vista found nothing. Before installing the updates VMC was running like **** i.e was very slow to respond and to navigate the menu once I updated it all came good except I lost all my channels, Anyone have any Ideas ?
