DTV2000H not working after hybrid sleep

I've had a Leadtek TV tuner (DTV2000H) for a short while now and this problem has been bugging me somewhat. The tuner works fine with great reception and Vista Media Center can find all the channels fine.

However, after sending my computer into hybrid sleep (S3) and waking up again, the tuner refuses to work. Device Manager shows that the device exists and I can disable and re-enable the devices fine, however Media Center can't find any channels during a scan and previous channels do not work.

I've discussed this a bit on Whirlpool and tried their suggestions (including changing to S1, which is not viable for me).

Any one here have any ideas?

Edit: The Event Viewer is also getting some errors which may be related:

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table"

This was my problem as well but with the DVICO FusionHDTV.

What was weird however, was that under Vista 32Bit, after an S3 resume if MCE didnt work, the native tuner application would still work. Under Vista 64Bit it the card itself just would not be loaded, saying that device drivers were needed.

In the end I gave up on getting the card to work so ordered a HVR-2200 - looking for much better results when I get everything back up and running.

I've found an interesting topic possibly relating to this issue: no TV signal after resume from S3 on DTV2000H
I'm going to try updating my BIOS via Gigabyte's @BIOS utility.

I can confirm that LeadTek's own software doesn't work.
