Happauge HVR-2200 WHERE TO GET ONE

Hi All,

I have had a Happauge HVR-2200 on back order for 2 weeks now and still no sign of it until early next month, can anyone help out where I could source one from?

If not what is going to be the next best card to get?

Cheers

Iain

Netplus sell them, have stock according to their site, and allow pickup.

I don't know your location but if you are in Perth then you could have it by the end of the week.

One of the big suppliers of them have an ETA of 28/8... so they shouldn't be far away, and I wouldn't get anything else personally.

Cheers

You're better off being patient - the Aver isn't even in the same league (I've got 2 of each). If you go with the Aver, you need a quality splitter & even then, you might need an amplified splitter to make sure you've got enough signal to both tuners.

Re: Happauge HVR-2200 WHERE TO GET ONE

I am also faced with this dilemma and am becoming increasingly impatient! I almost bought a Compro 750F instead...it will be in stock at my local store tomorrow. The general feedback seems to be that I should just wait for stock of the HVR2200. Netplus have them in stock and if you are an OCAU member delivery is free within Australia. That could be the best bet.

Simon.

Re: Happauge HVR-2200 WHERE TO GET ONE

I'm in the same boat, ordered one a couple of weeks ago and got caught out. I was told that production of the HVR2200 was supposed to resume early this week, they were out of a part and to expect the first lot to arrive at the wholesaler in the last week of August. So yeah even if they started production it's not looking good any sooner than another fortnight I guess. Chances are they've been saying that for a month now anyway so who knows. I think I'll just wait tho, my Leadtek can tie me over til then.

Same at http://www.pccasegear.com.au - it's not currently listed as out of stock but I just called them because my whole order is being delayed because of it (nice of them to let me know ). They expect stock by 29/8.

Re: Happauge HVR-2200 WHERE TO GET ONE

I ended up going for the older NOVA T-500, i know i should have waited but needed one.

I was using a HVR-1300 and was happy with that, they are similar age to the NOVA's i thought.

Thanks for all the input anyway.

Re: Happauge HVR-2200 WHERE TO GET ONE

Hmm, hope it works well for you, I had no luck with one, put the 1300 in and perfect.... so much of it is driver related though, and this was a while ago, so hoping you have success.

Cheers

Are they new? I would be keen but hopefully CPL have then later this week for $185.

How much would you want for 1 posted to Geelong?

Cheers,
