Recommended TV tuner card

Hi there, can any one out there recommend a decent dual digital hdtv card, I live in Adelaide currently running dvico dual digital 4 card, have always had a problem with channel 9 being jerky. I have been on to DVico for the last 2 years with this problem have had 3 new cards and all do the same.

My system configuration is AMD Athlon64 x2 6000+ CPU, Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 Motherboard, Kingston HyperX DDR2 800 4 Gig RAM, Galaxy GF8800GT 512Mb Video Card, 2 WD 160Gig 7200 SATA 2 Hard Drives, Thermaltake ToughPower 600W Power Supply. My Operating System is Vista Home Premium x64 SP1.

Thank you

Re: Recommended TV tuner card

You're not alone in being disappointed with the crap Dvico DD4.

Lots of DD4 users have switched to the Hauppauge HVR-2200 (including me) - it's a very good dual tuner. Search the forums here, there's lots of good stuff to read about the HVR-2200 (no stuttering, lightning fast channel changes, tuners never disappear from windows - a common fault with the DD4).
