HVR2200 Signal Issues

Hi Guys

I have just setup my HTPC, and having some issues with my HVR2200 picking up all 24 of the Adelaide Channels.

I have checked all of my connections and cables. If I plug my antenna cable (from roof) into my LCD TV, I can pickup all 24 channels. However If I plug teh antenna into the media centre box I can only find 10 Channels!

WTF?!

This is quite frustrating, since it wasnt a cheap exercise building this PC.

I am using 7.3.26198 drivers on Vista x64

I also have an old MSI Tv @nyware PCI card that finds all 24 Channels.

Not sure if it's related but I had a similar problem with DVICO Dual 4. It was resolved with a Signal attenuator (Available at Jay<automobile> for $5.95). Who ever thought too much signal was a bad thing, but apparently it was!

I am also having troubles with signal on this card (I live on the gold coast). I can't seem to pick up any of the TEN channels on 725.625mhz frequency, everything else works fine.

I tried your attenuator suggestion, but it didn't change a thing. Not sure if this is the problem with the 2200.

ScanChannelsBDA_UK.exe picks the channel up, but I can't acutally watch it.

Mine seems to be a bit better, im getting 17 channels now, just scanned a couple of extra times and it picked up a few extra. Still no SBS though, so I cant watch south park and top gear

Re: HVR2200 Signal Issues

Hello all. I am new here.

I purchased the hvr 2200 today. Installed it (bracket was a bit rubbish but I wasn't too fussed on that) and set up channels in the media centre.

It will not pick up any Ch7 broadcasts in the digital mode. It picks up channel 7 in analogue though.

Here is my scan file (ch7 does not appear to be detecing running the scanning tool either). What can I do? Is it possible to get ch7 in digital? I live in a rental house of 3 units - which I thought would be fine right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
