Question Problems with WinFast PVR2 - Perth

Hi All,

Hope someone can help with this problem.

My wife has recently purchased the Leadtek WinFast PVR2 (with the H dongle). Although when purchased it was said to be Vista compatible, the disks that came with the thing would not load the software and driver correctly. However she went to the Leadtek website and downloaded the most current driver available and everything seemed to install OK.

The problem we have now is that, when scanning for HD TV channels (either using the PVR software or Media Centre) only the SBS and 7 channels appear. They work fine but we cannot get ABC, 9 or 10 to appear. Actually, 9 appeared once, but when we went to view the channel it just showed a frozen screen of channel 7 with no sound. The other problem we have is that the Analog channels all appear in Black and White.

I also installed the software and drivers on my work pc which is running XP with no media centre to see if it worked. We basically got the same problem although the scan did show all the channels (but only 7 & SBS worked).

Has anyone else had these problems and have you been able to resolve them? We are cabling to the house antenna and have never had any problems accessing these channels on our TVs.

Thanks very much.
