I am looking at getting the DNTV Live! Dual Hybrid PCI-E S2 and I am wondering if it is very good? I already have a TinyTwin but I don't want another USB tuner as there is some delay in th channel changes which I think is caused by the fact it is usb.
I know that a lot of people recommend the Hauppauge HVR-2200 but I am thinking that it is slighly more than I want to spend (or should I say allowed???) so thought the DigitalNow one may be the way to go (when it is available)

Works fine on my VMC with latest drivers. Had one of the dual tuners go south after a Vista update, fixed with driver re-install. Oh and it has fast channel change.
Disappearing after sleep hasn't been an issue for ages.

Thanks for the replies. I don't use sleep really at all because after a while the TinyTwin drops out until I reboot it so I just reboot every so often.

I was never able to get mine working right, even with the latest drivers. The problem was very intermittent and sometimes the system would run well for a week without a problem, but then I'd get 'No Signal..." errors when selecting a channel or some message about not having a spare tuner when it was only recording one show. The latter was the most annoying because the only way I could fix it was to put it to sleep and wake it again, but if a recording was in progress this wasn't possible. Ended up having to watch analogue through the TV's tuner until the recording had finished .
I got sick of it and bought a HVR2200. Not one problem since I installed it. Sold the DNTV card and I'll be getting a second HVR2200 shortly.

I ended up ordering the Hauppauge HVR-2200 today. I thought it may be better to get the best card straight out rather than try and explain why I need to buy a different one later if things went wrong.
