HVR2200 driver install ... no inf ??

Hi Guys,
I downloaded the latest Newmagic drivers and get an error message saying "no INF files" or something along those lines.

Any ideas?

I downloaded the latest drivers sunday morning (hcwdriverinstall.exe) and it worked file.

Because I transferred the file over wireless I just copied the x86 version as thats all I needed and it worked perfectly.

Try running it with admin privileges. Otherwise, try downloading the file again. It may be currupt.

Yeah I have UAC off to ensure the GAF, Hauppauge guys you may need to add a request for elevated privileges into the install package?

Re: HVR2200 driver install ... no inf ??

This may be a silly solution as i just had the same error as you, Have you extracted all the files into a folder on the desktop and ran the installer from there ?
