I have just had a custom gaming/mediacenter pc made and have had it for about 3 days every thing is going good apart from 1 problem with this card. the problem is when i plug my xbox 360 in to the card there is a green line about 1 inch thick that runs across the bottem of the page, this line shows up both when viewing and all so in the recored video. the other problem is that i can notget audio from devices that ii plug in.... the card only has one input which is s s-video this then splits in to componet and a few other inputs
if any one has this card and has any advice on this issue it would me appriceated
Kind Regards

I have it, and experience no problems, but to help you, I need more info than you have given.
First off, it doesn't have one input (s-video) and split into other inputs. It has one plug for video inputs (for space reasons), which you can plug an s-video straight into, or use the adapter for the composite/component/audio inputs. The plug itself has many pins, 4 of which line up with s-video, but it's not an s-video being 'split' into others.
I assume you are trying to record gameplay videos from an xbox360? What inputs are you using? What program are you using to record, and what profile/codec?
As for the audio, again, which program are you using to record, what sound card are you using, how do you have it connected, are you capturing analog audio, or digital (S/PDIF)?
Your problems will have solutions, but you need to give more information.

The red/green/blue cables are component, not composite. Composite is the single yellow cable. It is better to use component (which you are already using). Please note though, that your tuner supports only SD component, not HD component, so make sure your output from the xbox is SD.
You are using onboard sound instead of a sound card, which can get messy. So if you have problems (and there's a good chance you will), just ask.
For best quality, I use the MPEG2 Optimal Quality profile in PVR2 (not the hardware MPEG2).

ok after playing around with the setting a bit more i have found that when i set my xbox360pal 50 and winfast region to pal its fine. But the games wont play in this setting. I forced to change the setting to pal 60 and the only way winfast will display a half decent pic is when i change the region to ntcj but the quality is bad and a green line covers the bottom inch of the screen.
Do you know anyway around this? Even another program i can use instead of winfast with this tv card?
Hmm, that's quite strange. Have no NTSC experience myself, so I may not be as useful as I otherwise may have been. Why won't the games play at PAL? Most tv's in Australia won't accept a 60Hz input, so it seems stupid that games would refuse to play at that refresh rate. In fact, what would it have to do with the game anyway? Surely the x360 graphics controller can override anything like that (just as in a pc, you can override in the driver).
I'd be looking more at the xbox than the pc if u can possibly get the games to work in pal mode. If not, then I guess more fiddling with PVR2.
