Unhappy Dvico FusionHDTV Dual Digital 4 won't find SBS at all

Hi Everyone,

I have done a few searches in the forums but all I can find is threads where people have described at one stage being able to get SBS, but it seems to have dropped out. My Vista Ultimate Media Centre auto tune will not pick up SBS at all, and never has.

Is this a common thing?

Its not like I get it but have poor reception, it just doesn't even exist.

Thanks in advance.

Update

OK after wringing the neck of my media center, updating to Service pack 1, install suggested registry hacks from this website, I have managed re-download the epg stream guide, and SBS is listed there!

That didn't happen before, so I was stoked, until I tried to watch it and there was no tv reception ... Damn!

I give up, I will try again next week...

Re: Dvico FusionHDTV Dual Digital 4 won't find SBS at all

Hi Marsdenati,

There have been a few recent threads relating to your issue.

I also cant get SBS on my media center but a slightly relieving fact to add is that I cant get it through my tv's digital tuner either.

A recent poster in another thread said he found a partial short circuit in one of his cables.

Another guy said that when he took out all his splitters and just had the one sing antenna connection to his tuner card he was then able to get it.

The later suggestion is what I'll try when motivated as I think my problem is more than likely signal strength (although I've not installed software to check...yet)

Jack
