3rd Tuner not seen by MCE Tuner Extender

Hi all,

I am using a Divico Dual Digital Tuner, and VMC picked those 2 tuners up fine and all is working well.

I have just tried putting in my old Prolink Play TV 300 DVB-T to make a third tuner. I am using Vista Ultimate, and its device manager can see the new tuner OK after I installed the drivers.

The problem is when I use either the HP MCE Tuner Config tool or the MCE Tuner Extender, none of those programs can see the new tuner. They can see the original Dual Digital tuner fine, but not the play TV one.

I am thinking it is too old and not compatible with vista.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Re: 3rd Tuner not seen by MCE Tuner Extender

you need BDA drivers for mce to see it
check manufacturer site for it if no luck post picture of your card and someone should be able to match it with something out there

Forgive the silly question, but there are so many acronyms on this site its hard to know what everything is!

But what are BDA Drivers?

Just checked the manufacturer website yesterday, and there are no drivers for vista, and no mention of BDA Drivers or what they might be.

Thanks Croc.

if your card is old there might be no BDA drivers for it but as i said post picture or link to some site that shows your card or card that looks just like yours and you might be in luck

Details can be found here:

I checked briefly and there are no visa drivers on the site.

Thanks Croc

There are some vista drivers here, some are very generically named though, but might be worth a shot:

This link is their latest drivers otherwise, 2006 unfortunatly:
