should i download the software and try to install it?

jnicholas,
Took this straight from the New Magic / Hauppauge driver download page;
(
http://www.newmagic.com.au/Support/H...a_Drivers.html)
"Hauppauge has developed support for Windows Vista on many of its HauppaugeTV products. Below is a list of products which run under WindowsXP MCE, Vista "Premium and Ultimate" and links to the current drivers. Note: The Vista testing was done using the Vista Media Center application for TV watching and recording. The Hauppauge WinTV application is not yet supported under Vista."
You insert the card and run HcwDriverInstall.exe (downloaded from the above link).
Then you use Media Center for all you LiveTV needs

..... and more
I never bothered with Radio, but I did read a guide somewhere on here I think that explained how to trick Media Center into finding all the Radio stations.
It went something like having to set the card as analogue first, then copying some registry data, then setting it to digital, then pasting the registry data back in.
Sounded too messy for just Radio, so gave it a miss. Besides, I can always just push the 'tuner' button on my Amp remote and listed to it through that.
Mark.
