Hauppauge has Vista drivers available for the complete range of MCE cards, with almost all cards Vista Certified (WHQL) by Microsoft. They are available here :
excellent work guys !! So good to correspond with a tuner manufacturer/distributor who doesnt speak "Engrish" some of Dvicos emails Ive gotten in the past have been hilarious -- "your support is much intensly applicant for this device"
just checked the download....so this doesnt actually include the updated file you sent around - isnt it just the same as Hauppauge 3.3c from UKs current set ??
Is a 64bit Vista Driver planned for the Nova T 500 MCE?
I'm interested because I am seriously considering going 64 bit OS on my Mediacentre

Cougar - if you open your device manager and give me the names of the TV tuners in there I can tell you which model you have - but if its an Optima machine its most likely 94xxx.
grover - At present I'm waiting on the final Australian driver build for the Nova 500 for WHQL. While it's likely we will get a 64 bit driver I can't give a definite timeframe as yet
where can I down load these drivers? (64bit vista NovaT500)

Note that this 64 bit Nova 500 driver does not have the Australian 'stutter fix' activated as default. We will shortly be posting a registry change that 'turns on' the fix for Australia in this driver.
Although I currently run one of your tuner cards I really didn't have any brand loyalty, until now!
I have seen a few of your posts and you have been extremely helpful, thanks for getting involved in the forum. I am installing home premium next week and if the drivers turn out to be ok I will probably go for a Haup dual hi def card in the near future.
Keep up the great work & support.

I'm having trouble watching channels in vista MC, I this week upgraded to vista ultimate from 2005MCE a Hauppauge winTV 88x , Device manager says it's working correctly with the latest drivers. in media center the scan found all channels but when i try to watch them the only channels that work are channel 10, ABC and the gold coast southern cross ten. when i try to watch any other channel the on screen display displays the name of the channel but no video or sound plays.
Check our website www.newmagic.com.au/vista for the latest driver for your card. It sounds like a HVR 1100 - but if you check your device manager you should see a model number there
i couldn't find any model numbers it just says Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video (DVB-T), so i installed the HVR-1100 MCE (Model: MCE 94xxx) driver this made the channels that weren't working before work but stopped the all the channels that were working from working, i tried reinstalling and re scanning but it didn't change.
