I would just like to report than this card works fine with MCE. I was initially unsure as to whether it would work, as there was very little information about this card online.
But I can safely say that it works well, and is fine in a dual tuner configuration. I have it paired with a Twinhan HDTV Mini-Ter card (3020C) and its great
I am using it with the Twinhan VP-3054 BDA drivers (even though mine is branded Excel VP-3054).
Just FYI for anyone thinking of using the card with MCE. I got mine free with the purchase of a DigitalStar desktop.

I purchased the same card a week ago and had it running fine. I liked it so much that I went and bought another one so that I could run dual cards, but haven't been able to get it working since.
The cards are detected in the tuner priority and scanchannels.bda apps as;
"Finished Checking for new BDA DVB-T Cards
2 BDA devices found.
using DTV-DVB 3054 Digital Tuner/Demod"
MCE will go throught the channel scan and pick up all channels, but will then display the 'no signal' message if I try to view them.
I'm using the twinhan bda drivers. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

To be honest after that initial try I never got it working properly again. I had to reload my system, and I never got it working properly since. When I could coax MCE into seeing it, I would either get a no signal problem, or after a lot of work an extremely jumpy picture. Meanwhile the quality was perfect in the included app.
Sorry mate but I can't be any help. I go so fed up with it I ditched it on eBay and bought another Twinhan 3020 HDTV card. Not that I have them working properly either....

Well guys, I've got mine working ok. In MCE, 'no signal' means 'no signal', even if the card works great in other softwares. That means that MCE requires even more signal strength for getting any tvcard working. MCE really sucks in the tvcard area.
The folks at Twinhan, or Taiwan that is, probably doesnt know how to speak english, since they NEVER respond to any support questions via email.
However, this card is only 1/3 compatible with MCE, that is because the radio and analogue tv features of this card does not work at all in MCE. So if you are fine with free terrestial tv, this card works great. I like the picture quality and good channel-change speed. Have not tried it for HD yet tough...

That is not a card problem, it is an MCE problem, or should I say requirement. you need an encoder installed for the analogue side to be seen by Media Center.

What if I translate my email into Taiwanese? Will they read it then???
hey lester, that was an interesting codec, for the first time ever i managed to get an option in mce where I can choose between dvb-t and analogue. However did not get the analogue feature to work. But it a big step!
Now I also can use my set-top-box in mce connected to the s-video input on my Twinhan card. But the picture quality of the s-video in mce is awfull, however it is superior in the Twinhan's software. Any clue how to fix the s-video picture in mce?
What is this codec, did not find any info, only Mainconcept?
