No Tuner installed or malfunctioning

I have found other posts on this subject but no definitive answers to the problem that I could see.

Have a TwinhanDTV DVB-T TV Tuner Card. Even has a sticker on the front that states it is MCE certified.

However, you guessed it, MCE claims that old chestnut of an error: TV Tuner not installed or malfunctioning when I go into TV setup.

This is what I have attempted in order to fix:
Moved card to new PCI slot
Reinstalled MCE
Used drivers from site (once installed full Twinhan app, once just drivers)

Haven't used drivers off CD yet, but I would expect the drivers at the site would be better?

I also have a DVD decoder installed, being PowerDVD included with the card.

Any ideas? Thanks for any advice.

Hey Eagle,

What you've done already is a good start, but check these three things:
Double check that the drivers for the capture card are actual MCE drivers and not just XP drivers.
Make sure you have a MCE compliant primary video card driver (Nvidia/ATI/whatever) and rollup MCE to SP2.

Your spot on, I went to the the Twinhan site and installed the BDA drivers (whatever they are)

The Twinhan site is clear as mud about this particular subject, but now I have overcome the prob - thanks
