Divco Dual Tuner Setup Problems

Hi all,

I have just built a new system and transfered my Divco Dual Digital tuner card from my HP Media Centre to my new unit. When the tuner was in my HP system it worked perfectly from day 1. Since transfering it into my new system, when going through the set up process, Media Centre doesn't recognise it as a dual tuner and doesn't ask me if I have 1 or 2 tuners. When I'm finished setting it up, it only acts as a single tuner. The dual tuner function works fine in the fusion program though !

I have downloaded the most recent drivers for the card and have all MS updates installed.

Does anyone know how I can get this working again?

Any help will be greatly appriciated !

Re: Divco Dual Tuner Setup Problems

I am about to do the same thing - move my DVICO Dual Tuner across to a new Shuttle SB83G5M (http://au.shuttle.com/Product/Barebone/SB83G5M.asp) to cut down on the size of the unit.

I don't know what would be causing it, but all I can recommend is to try using the install disc that came with it first, then upgrading the drivers after you have it running?

Regards,
Shane.

Re: Divco Dual Tuner Setup Problems

Definately checking the USB connection to the rear of the card or to the internal headers would be your first move. If that all looks ok, check out device manager and see if windows has detected them and installed the correct drivers.

I think this screenshot is in the manual, but check attached pic for how mine looks

Re: Divco Dual Tuner Setup Problems

Well, they did say the FusionHDTV works fine and detects both cards. So it's a MCE2005 problem it seems.

Just as a curiosity, does the MCE Tuner Priority program detect the two tuners?
