t750F problem... AAARRRGGGHHH

Hi guys, just finished building a HTPC that SEEMED to be working great......

But when i installed my compro videomate t750f it all went pear shaped!

Every time i open up compro dtv4 and try get it to autoscan the channels, it crashes the program.... Same thing on ulead dvd movie factory's dtv....

I can get analogue TV but not digital, just says its encountered an error and shuts down the compro program.

Tuner card works fine in my desktop pc so its not the card i dont think.

Also dont know if its related but i also have MCE and it seems to come up with some " Windows Media Reciever" error...

Anyways, specs are:
MB\ Asus MSN-MX-SE-PLUS
HDD\ WD 400GB
AMD 3800+ X2 CPU
2 X 1GB RAM
COMPRO VIDEOMATE T750F TUNER CARD

As said before, tuner card works fine in my other pc. Just this one gives me hell... I have already tried:

Alternate PSU (500w one)
Reinstalling MCE (3 times) and just using XP Pro (2 times)
New HDD
Tuner card drivers updated and also software.

I REALLY need help cause im gunna smash this thing soon!!!

Thanks in advance!

Try installing MediaPortal 1.0 RC2 and see how it goes. It does not take long to install and can be easily removed.

I have found it to be quite good Media Centre software, and is being developed and improved continuously. Also it is free, and open source.
