DNTV Live Dual Hybrid PCI-e S2

Have had some trouble with this card the last 2 months ..up until then this card has been a fantastic card ...

My problem lies in with HD chanels 10, 7 and 9 and ABC as well as digital 7,9 and 10 ..

Audio on these channels is unbearably high pitched and scrammbled ....

To make matters even wierder i can record these channels and play them back through another media player and have no trouble with audio at all ...

I then think its a video decoder issue , so i change it from my usual Purevideo to Cyberlink or Intervideo and i have the same issues .

I have fresh installed drivers for my 7600gs nvidia card as well as DNTV Live Dual Hybrid PCI-e S2 card , motherboard bios as well ...

I have also tried the card in other PCI-e slots without success .

I would love some help please ...

Thats a pretty tough one.........as you've done all the LOGICAL things to solve the problem.

I assume you don't have an images of your setup back when it was working fine that you could go back to?

Able to put a finger on anything thats changed around the time the problem appeared?

Quizzed any other users about anything they might have 'accidently' done?

I have the same tuner myself and apart from the 'no TV signal' blue screen that is magically fine on reboot - its pretty stable.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm........tried maybe using the tool that you run on your MCE and it reverts ALL the setting back to default? Can't recall what its called but its in here somewhere - might actually be part of MCE Customiser.

Imaging software really helps with stuff like this......maybe pencil to start using some - even if its just the free ones - that are still pretty good.

Re: DNTV Live Dual Hybrid PCI-e S2

You could try to install latest audio drivers, or if you have latest then try some older.
Could you try to disable all audio support in ffdshow? I would remove AC3 filter.
