psisdecd.dll

hello all,
I am in canberra and I am having issues getting sbs and abc, I saw in the past people where having the same issue. The result i found was to get an aussie psisdecd.dll. I can only find one for the sunshine coast. does this issue still exist anf if so who knows where to get a general psisdecd.dll for all of australia.

thanks

Re: psisdecd.dll

Just for the benefit of anyone else that finds this thread (even though we discussed this via PM), the psisdecd.dll files were only needed for MCE 2005 prior to the release of Rollup Update 2.

Microsoft fixed the issue in the rollup and I haven't made a dll for anyone since.

There is the potential in a dual tuner config, where both tuners are not of the same brand, that MCE will tune all stations on 1 tuner but not on the other. This can happen as some (older) drivers worked around the psisdecd problem (for Australia), by using translation tables in the driver itself. This can cause MCE to see different frequencies for the same channels on different tuners.

Unlikely as it is it's better to get the latest drivers if mixing 2 or more tuners of differing brands.

Cheers,

Arkay.
