DVICO Dual Digital DVB-T No Channel 9 or SBS on USB tuner

Hi

Until recently I had a 100% working XP MCE system (Dual Dig TV and Foxtel) with complete guide. It had been running for over 12 months without problem. The onboard LAN failed and caused all devices in device manger to disappear, then followed by a gradual breakdown of usability.

I have done a complete re-install of Windows XP MCE complete with hundreds of patches from windows update. I have updated to the latest version of DVICO dual Fusion drivers Ver 3.67.01. I have a working system except I have a No Signal error on the USB tuner when selecting Channel 9 and SBS. They work fine on the PCI tuner side of the card.

Channel 9 and SBS report No signal in the Fusion HDTV program (only on the USB tuner) which leads me to believe that its not MCE related.

I have searched this website without much luck for a specific fix.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Re: DVICO Dual Digital DVB-T No Channel 9 or SBS on USB tuner

I did manage to fix this, I'll post here incase I or someone else needs the information in a years time or so.

Disable the PCI tuner in device manager
Re-Tune FusionHDTV using the USB card - All channels should work
Re-tune MCE with only USB card working - Check Channel 9 and SBS work.
Close MCE
Re enable the PCI tuner and check (both cards are MCE enabled) Tuner Tool

Check by recording Channel 9 and then changing channel to SBS in MCE.
