TinyTwin only picking up 1 tuner on installation

I am currently trying to install my TinyTwin on to my main computer as my HTPC is not working at the moment and I can only get one tuner to come up during install.

I am trying to do this under XP.

Any ideas what may be causing this? It had both working on the HTPC which is running Vista (although I am changing back to XP soon)

Hi Morphjk,

Noting that the device manager should only show one device, as indicated by the arrow in the picture below.

Vista Media Center should give you the option of configuring one or two tuners, when going through the "Setup TV Signal" procedure.

In any case, ensure that you have installed the correct driver for the device, from he CD provided or our website. Ensure that you are using USB2 ports.
If you are still having issues, plug the device directly into another USB2 port to eliminate the possibility of a faulty/damaged USB port or cable.

If all that fails and the device works fine in your WinXP PC, then there is most likely a problem with your Vista setup or system, if it does not work correctly in either PC, then there could be an issue with the device (highly unlikley as failure rates with this device are below 0.2%, but possible,of course). In which case e-mail our support team and we will take care of it from there.

Cheers

I have just re-set up my HTPC with MCE2005 and I have both tuners but I am getting stuttering in the picture when it was mine before and I am not getting any sound coming through even though I have sound when I am in Media Centre just not when I go watch live tv.

Any ideas?.

EDIT:

All fixed. Installed DNTV Live and all is good.
