DVICO Dual Digital - No Remote?!!

Hey all!

This is my first post on these forums as its the first time ive really run into trouble!

Recently my remote control decided to stop working on my DVICO Dual Digital. I was running fusion 3.61 at the time and decided to try the drivers that on the supplied disc 3.2 i think?? the remote worked very briefly then stopped after next reboot.

Next i decided to try installing vista to see if it would make a difference but it didnt as now i was getting the code 10 error on the usb device. I shot fusion an email and they suggested loading fusion 3.66 but this didnt help.

I then decided i would go all the way back to xp pro with these 3.66 drivers and still had no luck. I have narrowed it down to the machine not being able to pickup the HID device under "human input devices" in device manager, the IR receiver.

Strangely i tried popping the card in a different machine and it installed and worked flawlessly, although this was a p4.

The system i am trying to install it into is as follows

Cpu: AXP 2700+
Mobo: Asus a7n8x-x (nForce2 chipset)
Gfx: Nvidia 7800gs 512mb AGP
Ram: 1.5gb ddr
Tuner: DVICO Dual Digital (first edition i think)

i would be so so so happy if somebody could come up with an answer for me!
thanks in advance

Dan (stressed out guy atm)

Re: DVICO Dual Digital - No Remote?!!

When you installed the drivers did you uninstall the previous drivers first?

I have the same card and found that i had to uninstall all dvico software and drivers first before installing new drivers.
