Leadtek DTV 7000 DONGLE and MCE 2005 help!

Hey guys, new the forums but done a crap load of searching and can't find the answer!

I have a Leadtek DTV USB2.0 Tuner which I'm trying to get going with XP MCE 2005.
Product link is here: http://www.leadtek.com/eng/tv_tuner/...lineid=6&act=1

I also have a machine running Vista Ultimate with Media Center and this works fine with the tuner, however the system I am building is MCE 2005 xp based and I can't get the 2 to talk to eachother.

The tuner works fine with PVR2 but when loading into MCE is keeps saying that I don't have a tuner installed.

The tuner states that it is compatible with MCE05 so I assume they are BDA drivers. I've updated MCE and downloaded the latest drivers for the tuner to no avail. I've also tried the 'how to get most cards to work' thread on this forum.

Not sure where to go to from here, anyone got one of these and got it working with MCE?

Cheers
Matt

Re: Leadtek DTV 7000 DONGLE and MCE 2005 help!

Looks like i resolved it myself, damn thing was use winxp 64bit drivers, reinstalled and forced it to use 32bit and bingo came up in mce.

However I now have another problem, doing a channel scan and it stops at 12%, MCE is still responding and i can stop the scan, but it just sits at 12%?

Has been there for about 10min now, have stopped and started it again once already.

Re: Leadtek DTV 7000 DONGLE and MCE 2005 help!

I've now tried to get reception with PVR2 again and while I can scan and find channels, if I choose to watch a channel (9 HD for example) the picture is stuttering and not watchable at all.

Starting to get confused and frustrated now. It seems to keep going after 12% now but stops at 15% and goes very slowly from there on

ok, i've got pvr2 working again, reinstalled the dongle again and pvr2 was fine, smooth playback and it scanned everything straight away. Still getting stuck at 12% though in mce. Any ideas ppl? Someone out there must know where i'm going wrong!
