Hauppauge Nova t-500 tuner problems

hey..

excuse the novice question..

just got my media center pc - with a hauppauge nova t-500 dual tv tuner
i have scanned and picked up all of the channels - 25.. with the digital options etc..
but when i go to My TV and I try and watch .. i get an error that there is something wrong with the tuner and i may need to restart the computer (which i have done.. and nothing..)

Any ideas.. anyone?

There are a couple of long threads that discuss the Hauppage tuner, as others have had problems as well.

You may need to download a copy of ScanChannelsBDA to test the cards.
