US version MCE - using digital and analog cards at the same time in the same box

Not much help to these Forums in terms of helping others with information, as I am generally a little behind the pace, however, I have a question to which I cannot find the answer:

Some background to what I have

1. I have a US version of MCE 2005 running on a computer in Sydney. I just came back from the US, and I brought the software with me.
2. From what I understand you CAN have an analog tuner and digital tuner in the one MCE 2005 box in the US (in fact you have to??)....

So is the limitation in Australia (for not being able to use both a Digital and Analog tuner in the one box) built into the MCE 2005 version for Australia (and any non US region)? or is the limitation in the fact that the digital and analog signals in Australia are PAL vs NTSC or something?

Thanks for anyone that can shed some light.

Doug

Re: US version MCE - using digital and analog cards at the same time in the same box

Hi Doug,

yes the issue is the different Australian TV standards over here, nothing to do with MCE itself, which is generally the same for all countries, other than languages...

Cheers
