Re: electronic program guide

For Oz you need third party software for an EPG, some clever people have written and setup programs for Oz .... have a read and you will have an EPG in no time....

Re: electronic program guide

Just to clarify for you, prgram guides are actually copyrighted in Oz

This means that M$ can't just grab one off the net as they do in other coutries. But, as Pistnbroke has said, we have some really good work-arounds made available by some clever people who actually put the solutions out ther for us at no cost.

Red face Re: electronic program guide

Have downloaded and installed a program such as freexmltv to use in conjunction with bladerunner? freexmltv v4.0 is very easy to configure and works very well

I don't think it's been done.

Besides that, the only AM tuners for a PC I can think of are the RadioShark http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/radioshark/ & the RadioYourWay LX (bit of a hybrid AM/FM radio & iPod) http://www.pogoproducts.com/radioyourway.html . I don't know if either have any Media Center software development happening.

DAB integration in future MCE versions should happen, but that's a while away.
