BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

Hi,

I've been trying to update my guide today with BRP but it keeps saying "Found 0 Channels" which is a bit puzzling.

Also, my listing2.xml file seems to have disappeared - would this be causing it?

Is anyone having the same issue or have ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

Mingers_PhD, which scraper are you using to gather your data for BRP to process?

Also do you have any channels to watch via LiveTV, if not have you re-run the TV setup and scanned for channels again?

Cheers,

Matt.

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

I'm using OzTivo as the scraper.

All my channels are still intact (they are for PayTV so I can't really scan for them since the set top box takes care of it).

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

Is the channelinfo.xml file in the guidedata directory?

Also you'll find the listings2.xml file disappears when the guide is succesfully processed by BRP.

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

I have found the same problem on my system. I was all working fine now I get the same error. All the XML files remain unchanged and my login to the OzTivo site works and there is data on the site.

???

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

Hmmm, looks like I'm not alone then. I can see my guide data on the site as well - perhaps I'll try again this evening.

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

Thanks Monster.

I've tried the updated OzTivo file but I'm still getting "Found 0 channels..." errors

OzTivo doesn't need any additional files to work its magic, right? It just hits the website and sucks the data down I thought.

Re: BRP - "Found 0 Channels"

ok they have changed it again... for what reason i dont know so before i make another change maybe someone can contact them and ask if theres going to be any more changes.

i dont believe they a doing this deliberately? looks to me like house keeping and w3c code standards but i could be wrong.

so if someone can find out and send me a PM ill make the necessary changes.

sorry

Lets hope you hear soon. Guide data is starting to run low.

Completely understand - I have asked in the e-mail for a list of changes and when it is anticipated that the changes will all be implemented.
