BBcode for 'strikeout'?

The usual [s] [/s] code for strikeout doesn't appear to work on this forum.

Is this function handled in some other way?

Also, try as I might, I couldn't find the Help page info related to use of BBcodes here.
Some forums have a link to that right where you post from. Did I miss something obvious?

Edit:
OK, found it. Under 'Go Advanced' there is a Stikeout' button.

It uses [s.trike] [/s.trike] syntax (without full stops)

Or you could just paint the content and click the icon.

That works as well

Re: BBcode for 'strikeout'?

In the 'normal' view that I'm using the ABC box isn't visible. It appears under 'advanced'.

Help on BBcodes isn't visible with either view.

Re: BBcode for 'strikeout'?

Not sure what you mean by "normal view". The full editor is available when we select New thread, Reply & Quote, however if we select Quick reply or Edit - the "lite" editor appears - I guess because in both cases there's not generally much need for the advanced options.

As for BBcode help - well you just found a bug - I spent the last hour chasing down an error that gets thrown up when accessing the BBcode help page - turns out it's caused by a clash with my side columns. There's no fix apart from turning them off and that's just not an option I'm afraid - they pay the bills.

The next VB upgrade will fix it, but it's way too unstable for me to even consider it at the moment.

Re: BBcode for 'strikeout'?

Thanks Mike.

I must be going blind. By 'Normal' I meant New Post, Reply, Quote. And I see the ABC there. Must have been looking too closely before.

My vote goes to stability as well...
