Add Forum Content To "Favourites"

How many times have you found a really useful thread or post that has exactly the information you want, or perhaps even another member who entertains you or just seems to post good stuff?

Then whenever you want to go back to it, you either forgot to subscribe to that thread, you weren't able to mark a single post or can't sem to remember which member's posts it was that you enjoy reading.

Well until now, all that good stuff would normally drift off into the pool of general information and be difficult to find without trying to remember a keyword to search for - until now.

I've just installed what I think will be a really handy modification called "Favourites". Now if you want to mark and save a thread, post or member to come back to later, all you do is add it/him/her to your favourites as follows:

Add Thread to favourites

As can be seen by the pic above, at the top right of each thread look for "Thread Tools" and select "Add thread to favourites"

Add Post To favourites

As per above pic, to add an single post to your favourites list, at the top right of each post click the "Add Post To Favourites" link.

Add User To favourites

As per pic, go to the user's public profile by clicking his avatar on any of his posts and under "User Lists" select "Add user to favourites"

Last 5 Favourites Added

Once you have a few saved, if you look at the left side of the navbar, you'll see a new drop-down menu called "Favourites"

This is a quick list of your last 5 additions, but at the bottom of that list is a link to your "Complete List of Favourites" which takes you to your UserCP where all your favourites will be listed.

Enjoy!

re: Add Forum Content To "Favourites"

Finally figured how to let you guys add a single post to your favourites - both styles now offer a link at the top right of every post so you never need to lose that important info again.
