New Feature - Quick System Specs

I just added some javascript plus little extra code to what is known as the "postbit" template - it's the one you're looking at now.

The output is a neat little "fly out" box at the bottom of the column where your avatar is displayed and it provides your Media Center specs without putting them in your signature, or asking someone to visit your profile page to see them.

Of course, given that the the code is wrapped in some <if> <else> tags, unless you've added your system details to your profile - (look for "My Media Center" in the left column of your CP) - nothing will show for you.

So now's the time to fill in those little boxes guys.

Great idea!

But, it only seems to appear if you have a "member mood" (as in "I'm feeling xxxx") - if your mood is set to blank (the default) then there's just an empty box at the bottom of that column.

Re: New Feature - Quick System Specs

nice idea Unfortunately I have 3 rigs. My setup pic link will have to suffice

btw, why is OS omitted ?? being able to identify, and hence avoid, those perpetually annoying myth users would be a bonus

I saw your specs last night, and I soon realised that you had 3 systems listed. I think the format you used makes sense.

For someone that knows specs, it isnt really confusing, just bit of an ordeal to wade through

I just realised....I have an animated sig gif with specs on it I could dig back out....
