MEdiaportal picture 'tearing' during TV viewing and Leadtek 1000S remote setup

    Hi All,

I have installed Mediaportal 1.0 recently, but have noticed that the picture has a 'tear' nearly in the mniddle of it when watching TV. I have tried changing codec's but still this tear persists. Any suggestions? I am running mediaportal on Vista Ultimate with SP1.

Also, I have a leadtek remote that came with my Leadtek 1000S TV card. I have installed coolreciever, but it is still not working properly. Should I just bite the bullet and purchase a dedicated Vista media center remote and be done with it?

    Thanks,

    Fab

I cant help you with your picture quality problems but I had the same problem as you with MP and the Leadtek remote. I ended up getting the MS remote and I wish I had done it sooner. It just works.

    Len.

How do I do that? I have not seen any setting for this in Mediaportal. If you are referring to the graphics driver properties, it is set I think to 25 hz interlaced (I am connected to a TV).

Also, as you have lenard I bit the bullet and got a MS remote. It works as well out of the box except for one small exception. I cannot change channels when the TV is running using the channel buttons. These work in Media center, but for some reason not in Mediaportal.
