My hand is up if you need any beta testing done. Also I am more that willing to donate cash to the cause if that will assist in the development of what looks like being just about the most important plugin for vmc yet.

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
I don't know, I don't really want to charge people for something they'll probably only use once or twice, and could do manually if they really wanted to. Besides, if I did, i'd have to deal with licensing, hosting, etc (and all the costs that go with that) - just about as much work as the app in the first place
Having said that, actually making some money for all this effort does sound nice.
Anyway, another quick update for anyone that is interested - i'm still working on it, and have most features working nicely:- Moving items between strips
- Reordering items within a strip
- Reordering strips
- Changing default item for a strip
- Changing default strip
- Disabling strips
- Disabling items within a strip
- Adding 3rd party items to strips (still only one allowed on built in strips, any number on custom strips (no more 5 item limit))
) it:- Adding new custom strips
- Editing text for strips/items

Make it donationware then. Put a paypal link in the first post of the thread and anyone who wants to thank you in $ can do so! I for one would like to be able to try before I buy and I'm sure many people would be willing to donate to a developer like yourself who uses their free time to improve Microsoft's half finished product!
