re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Well, I've got an odd problem I thought you folks might be able to help with. I bumped into Menu Mender as someone suggested it might help me retrieve a plugin that disapeared from my VMC menu (vmcNetflix specifically). Well, I installed mender, and the weird thing is that it shows vmcNetflix in the internet programs menu, just where I left it.
I tried moving it to some different menus, renaming it, and restoring the menu to default. None of this brought the plugin back for me. I don't see it listed under installed plugins or on any of the menus. I thought the fact that mender can see it might be the key here. Anyone have any ideas? At this point, reinstalling Vista is starting to seem like the only option..
Thanks
Jeff

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Yes, looks like I have a bug where Menu Mender will crash when you have installed an addin that doesn't have a title set. I'll upload a new version soon, or in the meantime you can trawl through your registry and make sure every application key has a Title value.
No, the forum doesn't allow me to edit posts over a certain age. I have intended for a while to set up a website to host the app, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I will as soon as i'm ready to release a non-beta version.
Yes! My plan of hiding the log.txt file is working!
I'd prefer it if you sent me a support package (created via the Menu Mender about box) rather than the log.txt file.
If you send me a support package (as above, via the Menu Mender about box) I might be able to tell you what's wrong.Media Center Studio

Advent, to let you know, unfortunately MenuMender no longer works if you use "fiji". I have loaded it on my system, killed your app. Nothing shows up in MenuMender anymore.

Yeh, I know. They've made some fairly major changes (for the good, I think - makes more sense now) to the resources that contain the menu data that means that Menu Mender doesn't work anymore. However, the good news is that I should be able to change Menu Mender to get it working again - possibly even better than before. I'll know more after I spend some more time on it.

Ok, looks like the vmcNetflix application has been disabled in Media Center. You can restore it by going to (from Media Center main menu):
Tasks->Settings->General->Program Library Options->Edit Program Library and checking the box next to vmcNetFlix, then save.
I'll update future versions of Menu Mender to take this setting into account.Media Center Studio

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Hi, I've installed your program and did some great stuff w/ it, but managed to mess it up somehow. Now when I try to open, I get a huge error message, and the program won't load. I've tried reinstalling and even ran CC cleaner.
The last thing I was doing in the program was trying to add a custom game (UT3) to one of the strips.
Any way to get the program working again?
