re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Hi Advent,
looks like things are developing nicely. I have been using MenuMender since you first realeased it and have had no issues at all until yesterday. I loaded mediacenterfx back on mu HTPC because I wanted to get rid of the awfull Blue, however any of the links I have moved with your app now do not show up in Media centre. I have used this app along with mediacenterfx on a previous build and all worked.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
I do not want to stay with windows blue

I'll definitely look into this - I use MediaCenterFX as well! I did make some changes to the way that the menu data is stored in ehres.dll in the last version (in order to be able to accommodate unicode characters), so my guess is that this isn't compatible with whatever MediaCenterFX is trying to do. In the meantime, I suggest that you try reverting everything back to default (in both MediaCenterFX and Menu Mender), applying the theme with MediaCenterFX, and then modifying your menu using Menu Mender. So long as you use Menu Mender last, it should work *fingers crossed*.

Advent,
I have alrady tried that one. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. Removes a couple of icons in each strip. I know it was working previously, as I used the black theme, but on this new build I can't get it to work.

Changes to Online Media done in VMC not picked up
Greetings,
I've taken one of the applications in the Program Library from the Online Media strip and copied that to the Online Media strip itself (right click, "add to start menu"). My plan was then to use MC Menu Mender to move that item to the TV + Movies strip.
But I find that MC Menu Mender does not see the change that I made to the Online Media strip, it still shows the strip as it was before I added the app from the Program Library.
Is there any way to take an application from the Program Library and copy it to another strip, say, TV + Movies? It seems MC Menu Mender can not enter the Program Library.
thanks

Re: Changes to Online Media done in VMC not picked up
Problem solved. Found out the way to do it is not to use Media Center's built in "add to start menu" option, rather to do this by expanding the entry point window at the bottom of MC Menu Mender and drag the icon from there to the appropriate strip.
Love this utility - it allowed me to strip out all the unneccessary stuff from the VMC menus. Great work!

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Hey Advent,
Been having mixed results with MC Menu Mender since you released it, but just have been too busy to bother with it until today. Now, when I try to start it up I get a HUGE error message. I copied the error and attached it to this post. Also attaching my log file. Any idea what's causing this and how I can fix it?
Thanks so much for your efforts!
Eddie

Advent - can you update the first post of the thread or something whenever you release a new version? Otherwise we have to trawl backwards through the thread to find the latest one!
Great app by the way!
