OMG wow advent you really hit it with this version. I agree with lillgreen, we have been trying to get rid of that quiiq projector from tv+movie strip for a while and was the last thing to do. Im sure i can speak for everyone by saying we really appreciate all the hard work you have done on this, everything works a treat for me so again thank you so much. As soon as i have a way to donate online (I hate credit cards), your on my list mate

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Hi Advent
This Menu Customiser is just what I needed!
Thanks a lot.
I installed the latest version, but whenever I'm going to save, a error message appears,
And the application crash (see attached file).
Any idea.
Thanks.

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Cheers guys, thanks for sticking with it and helping me iron out the bugs.
Thanks cool_bombom - all the stuff in the support package you posted looks ok, so I am assuming at this point that your problem has something to do with 64 bit windows. Has anyone else tried using Menu Mender on x64?
Unfortunately I don't have access to an x64 version of windows for testing/debugging at the moment, so x64 users may have to wait a while before this gets sorted out (if it is indeed the problem).
That image is so small I can't read the text
Please post a support package as per the instructions in this post.

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Same Problem here, with a 32bit vista ultimate.
Just unclicking Sports Menu (which actually isn't in my MCE anyway) and saving.
Before I cleaned any log file, produced the error, restarted MM and created the package.
I tested some early version of your programm, which didn't look so cool, but did the job ;-)
Did I break something with it?
BTW
QIIMovies should be uninstalled (long time ago) :-?

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Hi Advent,
please find here after the support package.
My current windows system is in French language.
Perhaps, it could be the problem?
One strange thing: I have installed the last version 0.2.6 but when I check it in the about menu the displayed version is 0.2.5...
Thanks.

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Wow, just gave this a quick whirl on my desktop, havent been able to put vista on my HTPC . (oddly enough 1 sata dvd and 1 sata hdd have died in that this last week o.O)
However , omg.. this is just the perfect tool , ripped out the pics moved the vids to the tv menu got rid of 1/2 a dozen other sundry nastys and the thing look awesome .. Im sure If I give it some though I could make it even more user friendly .. perhaps music, recorded tv, video library and guide all on one line and nothing else ... heh oh the possibilities
Anyhoo . awesome work ,thanks, I might have to go buy a new HDD to put in the bermuda triangle HTPC next week.

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
A BIG thank you for this utility.

Now I can finally have VMC the way I want it.Now we are faced with a new and very troubling assault on our fiscal security, on our very economic life - and we are facing it from a thing called the video cassette recorder. - MPAA on the VCR 1982

DVD Library or Play DVD not showing
First off... increadible APP!!!! I love it. However, I can't get either Play DVD or DVD Library to show up on my TV + Movies Strip. I also can't move icons from one OEM strip to another without VMC crashing. Any ideas?
I am running Vista Ultimate, 32-bit.

re: New util: MC Menu Mender
Looks like the language issue - I hope to have a fix for this in the next version.
Yep, it does look like the fact you have a French version of windows is the problem. As above, I hope to have a fix for the next version.
Well spotted on the version number - I forgot to update it when releasing 0.2.6
Thanks - i'm beginning to hate it
As posted a few times in this thread, you must make sure that the menu strip that you're moving a builtin link to is AFTER (under) the strip that it originally comes from in the list. Admittedly this thread is getting far too long for people to read through - I really should get a website going somewhere...
It looks like your Play DVD link is set to not be visible - is the checkbox next to this link in Menu Mender checked?
Also, cheers to the guys that posted to say thanks - I appreciate it!Media Center Studio
