Re: I Have a working Vista/BRP/EPG system!!
Has anyone found a fix for downloading the HD and SD version of the guide, I will be getting a HDTV very soon and will need to use SD and HD channels.
Thanks

Re: I Have a working Vista/BRP/EPG system!!
Fantastic work fellas. Obviously, many hours have been spent and it is truly appreciated. I have just spent the whole week installing and re-installing and going through the forums over and over again. I hate to bother you folks but I am at a lost. It seems like everthing is going fine except when the epg is downloading, it always ends with a error code: 24 - unable to download guide from server. I followed the installation instructions to the letter and tested both the TVxb and BladeRunner Pro. Everything looks fine. All the links check out and IIS doesn't show any errors. I'm totally lost and need help. I'm running on Windows Vista Home Premium.
Help!
Please!

Re: I Have a working Vista/BRP/EPG system!!
I had the error 24 for a while but it didn't bother me too much because the EPG info was properly downloaded anyhow! Have you checked the guide setup in MCE (add listings to channels) to see if the EPG data is there and maybe not linked to the proper channels?It seems like everthing is going fine except when the epg is downloading, it always ends with a error code: 24 - unable to download guide from server
Later I had to reinstall the EPG setup for some reason and then the error 24 disappeared. I have the impression that it had to do with the setup of TVxb and BladeRunnerPro and especially the point where read/write access should be granted to the BladeRunner folder tree. see http://www.tvxb.com/doc/Vista-Blader...structions.htm
In any case these instructions should be followed precisely and point for point (is my experience)
Good luck

Re: I Have a working Vista/BRP/EPG system!!
In order to avoid holding up during downloading at 61%, the country.ini file must add teh channel no (name=1, name=2) after the channel name as the ini file download from tvxb.com might not include.
name=TV1
name=1
.....
name=TV2
name=2
.....
