For OzTivo users.
I have found that all files in ...BladeRunnerPro\GuideData get deleted during a BRPro update, so I have put OzTivo.exe in the C:\WINDOWS\EHOME\BladeRunnerPro\OzTivo.exe directory and amended BRPro Configurator accordingly as I think the OzTivo.exe site still refers you to the GuideData dir.

Yep you're right, thanks.
I've updated the how-to guide here: http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/view/TVGuide/MCE
Let me know if you spot any other errors!

Monster,
Great work, love the HD symbol you included, aswell as the BRPro inclusion into MCE programs. Damn fine job.
Your quick, great to see, i'm hoping this dir is ok as I'm just a user.

Re: BladeRunner Pro v3.5 Released!
Awesome update, really appreciate the added feature of bladerunner launching the MCE guide update. One question, I still can't work out how to duplicate a guide listing for the HD channels. Can someone please post a how to? If I simply add the listing to a second channel, it is only displayed for one channel.
Thanks,
Justin

Brilliant. Installed with OZTIVO and I have a EPG again. Not quite FreeXMLTV but pretty good. Great Work.

Re: BladeRunner Pro v3.5 Released!
Thanks Monster.
I installed 3.5 last night without any problems.
For now I am using JRobbo's EPG Guides, which gives me EPG but without catagories and full descriptions.
PS: Where can I find a full description of the xml format that BRP expects? I am finding that some guide data seems to vary in format and I would like to be able to tweek the data before BRP reads it.

Re: BladeRunner Pro v3.5 Released!
How did you get jrobbo's guides working with MCE? I asked them about that ages ago when I started using WebSchuduler but it wasn't a high priority at the time.
Are you using jrobbo's "full" download or partial? Unless he's changed them again...

Well done monster - love the way BRP now triggers MCE to do the update rather than having to fathom its own strange timing!

Completely and utterly disagree.

JRobbo's XML feeds are far more accurate in definition, and updated daily, thus always giving you 7 days advanced guide data, unlike the oztivo which can drop down to 3 or less days.
But as usual, the question was not answered - how can you modify the XML and tweak it using BRP....

Re: BladeRunner Pro v3.5 Released!
I did try Oztivo but it only covered a few days, I would rather have a weeks worth if possible. Although I really do need the catagories. I'll check out Oztivo again.
The format is not too much of a problem for me as I have a small utility that I wrote to tidy up the xml and replace strings. For example I replace the channels names so that they are the same for any grabber that I use that way I don't have to change channelinfo.xml, plus a few other strange bits like duplicate "&:" etc.
If possible, what I would like to know is the format and tags that BRP will accept that way I can customise the xml data, please.
