Antec Fusion V2 & Harmony Remote

Hi All,

Havent posted here in a while, but need a bit of help.

About to purchase an Antec Fusion V2 Media Centre Case, I have a Microsoft MCE Remote at present with a IR reciever. But I want to use a Harmony remote so i can control my TV, Media Centre and Stereo, from what I have read the Antec Fusion V2 case has a built in IR reciever and works with Vista MCE.

My question is what Harmony remote will be able to control my Vista Media Centre using built in IR, TV and Stereo or isnt this possible?

Hope someone can help me out

Cheers
Iain

Yes you can.... the only thing you won't get with the built in IR receiver that you do with the MS one is triple-tap (MS's sms text entry function). A part from that the experience is the same.

Yes, you can control it all fine, however the receiver on the Fusion is not very good. I use the MS receiver with mine. My fusion receiver would not work unless the remote was pointed directly at it. The MS one works with the remote pointing anywhere.

Re: Antec Fusion V2 & Harmony Remote

Agree with the above posts. My Harmony 880 works fine, but you need to pretty much point the remote directly at the box. I have vaguely been wondering if any of the newer Harmony remotes might be better...(or if one of the IR LEDs in the remote had died...)
