Remote Control MCE with mobile

Just wondering if there is any software that will allow me to control my mce machine with my mobile?
My mobile is a sony ericsson k750i
i have had a look at http://www.desktopmobiles.com/index.html?
but am unsure if it works.

or can i turn my mobile into an mce remote?

just wondering if any one has done it

Re: Remote Control MCE with mobile

Try this ... it used to let me Remote control my PC via bluetooth as well as pop up SMS's

http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm

it loads a java app into your phone to do the remote control (as well as other things). Haven't tried it with MCe yet though.

EDIT/ Just looked at the link your post... looks like you want to Remotely Control your PC without being near it (Which is what the app I posted will do, control your PC via bluetooth but within bluetooth and visual range)

Re: Remote Control MCE with mobile

I know there are HID files availabable which let you control specific applications such as winamp and I once had one specifically for MCE. I tried it on my k700i and it wouldn't work, but I have just upgraded to the k750i so I might have to give it another try as the bluetooth seems to be more reliable...

... now if only i could remeber where i got it from ... time for a google me thinks.
