Help with initial setup of EPG for Perth

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and am wanting to setup my new machine to work with EPG for Perth. However, every link I go to for setup guides appears to be broken, or if I need to download a file from the download area it just takes me to the download area not the actual file.

Can someone either provide me with a step by step setup guide including the files I need to download and how to set things up (preferably for Perth) or a link to a post that does this.

Cheers in advance

Alan

Re: Help with initial setup of EPG for Perth

Hi Alan

I am also in Perth. I used the excellent BRP created by members from this community. There are easy to follow instructions here:

http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/brp/

Only problem i experienced in setting it up was that I didnt at the time have Java 2 installed. You need to visit http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp to get that. It's free.

After that, just follow the instructions from the first URL and you should be right.

:-)

Thanks for the reply, the link is great. Where do you get tvharvest and quickquide from as I obviously need them too.

Cheers
