Foxtel Setup?

Im just starting to setup Foxtel on my media center and had a few questions. I looked around the forum but didn't fully answer my question.

At the moment i use a dual hauppauge nova-t 500 tuner card which works great for FTA but now im upgrading to Vista Ultimate i wanted to get foxtel running through my Media center as well.

Can you run a dual digital tuner card as well as a single analouge card for foxtel? Which card would you recommend for Foxtel?

How would i go about setting it up. I don't need to do any reg key changes for using both Digital and Analogue these days do I?

How to i configure the Media center remote to control foxtel? How do i setup the foxtel guide so that i can click on the program i want to watch and it changed the foxtel set top box to that channel? Can this even be done or do i need to use the remote and enter the channel number everytime?

thanks

Yes you can, it takes some registry work as media Centre is designed for only two tuners by default, and if you use two they need to be 2 x digital or 2 x analogue. More and a combination can be run via a couple of simple hacks.

I use a PVR-150 which is a bit old now, not sure what the current thoughts are.

As I said above - yes. read the stickies in the tuners forums

Again read the stickies. You can setup Foxtel onto one channel in MCE or have a full guide running for Foxtel which then uses the buds that come with the MCE IR receiver to change the channel on the Foxtel set top box (STB). This will take a bit of reading, patience and time. Do it in steps and make sure you have a good backup at each step, things will go wrong and you will need to do some back tracking. Once you are underway if you get stuck ask specific questions here.
