Foxtel guide outdated?

Hi

I have recently become interested in connecting my foxtel box to my MCE2005 machine via an old Leadtek TV2000 XP Analogue Tuner Card. Sitting beside it is a TwinhanDTV Digital tuner for FTA.

So I troddle over to the sticky labelled "MCE - Foxtel / PAY TV Guide" and get set to waste an afternoon configuring away. However I don't get very far without discovering some differences between what has been documented vs. what I have in my MCE settings.

The guide explains that before I set up EPGRunner, I must set up my TV.
1. Next select your region...ok thats Australia, check
2. Next select Cable or Digital Cable...um, wha?

Granted the guide is over 2 years old. Does anybody know if there is an updated guide, or am I proceeding down the wrong path?

Richard

Re: Foxtel guide outdated?

Cable has local FTA stations retransmitted on the foxtel box.
Digital Cable (AKA Satellite ) cannot retransmit the local stations because it is a national feed.

I think that is the difference you are getting, try one, if it doesn't work, you can always do it again

Hey!

Try Free*EPG from epgStream.net! We seem to have picked up where EPGRunner left off! Check out the support forum here: http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...ort-discussion

Thanks,
