Guys, ive received my Visionplus Pci card & Cam and have installed them both to my HTPC. Im getting the channels fine and in great quality on the digital tv software 3.2 (latest) , but when i scan the channels via MCE its not picking up any of the channels?
Is there some kind of software or setting i need to do so i can get these pay tv channels on my MCE?
Sounds like you're going to have to talk to Twinhan to work out how to add the satellite in to the list. The MCE Virtual DVB-T software probably has a text or inf file that contains the list - if you have the specs you need off Lyngsat, then you may be able to add it there.

Justin,
I've got the Virtual DVB-T software running in the backgroud
with the BDA drivers up and runnign as well. The BDA Filter is
on my Digital Tuner with the Remote set to my MCE and when I enable
the Satellite I get a whole bunch of Sat's but no Intelsat8 or PAS8?
Like the Digital Tv Software, if the had a TP Edit section under settings
then I would add it maually.
I found someone say use a software called DVB-TMapper.exe which will
enable me to set a curtin Frequacy to my Digital DVB card.
I think thats a bloody great Idea because them my MCE will scan and find it.
The probelm there is that I cannot find that software anywhere on the net??
On the Twinhan download page there's a file called satellite.dll - download it & replace the version that's in the folder with the Twinhan DVBS4MCE software - I think it includes Intelsat 8.
You might need to re-run the setup in the PDF guide.

Unfortunately direct satellite is rarely used in Aus because of the Foxtel encryption system that doesn't allow it, so expertise is limited. Having said that, I'm pretty sure that even with the updated satellite.dll, the listing for Panamsat8(1660) doesn't have the frequency of the transponders for SelecTV. I'll see if I can edit the dll for you to include them (no promises - not my normal work).
